Following a presentation by Berry Professor of Spanish Julee Tate, over 180 students enjoyed the popular mariachi band based in Atlanta. The performance was hosted by Berry's nationally recognized Spanish honors society, Sigma Delta Pi.
Data for a new study showing that modern genomic tools can help restore the American Chestnut tree was generated at Berry College by Biology Professor Emeritus Martin Cipollini, assisted by Associate Biology Professor Caitlin Conn and many Berry undergraduate students.
